《书目》(Booklist)书评
The author has revised the content and approach of this book, integrating traditional and new technologies throughout the chapters. Omitted in this edition are screenshots, replaced by a web component that includes links to cited products, technologies, websites, and resources. A second major change is in the focus, from academic libraries to a broader range of libraries. The work is still intended to be an introduction, although some basic familiarity with web-authoring procedures or Web 2.0 technologies is assumed. Each chapter presents theories, tools, evaluation, testing, and assessment methods. Useful for any library environment where web-based instruction is either being considered or already used, as long as the reader has a background in the area and is willing to use additional resources for more detailed information on specifics.--Marcus, Sara Copyright 2010 Booklist
