《儿童读物杂志》(Horn Book)书评
Quite a few facts about volcanoes--their formation, types, historical eruptions, and how scientists study them--are packed into this small book. Unfortunately, the author attempts to cover too many topics, resulting in incomplete and occasionally inaccurate descriptions and too few explanations. The busy layout includes mediocre color illustrations and small-type captions crammed onto double-page spreads. Glos., ind. (c) Copyright 2010.
