《学校图书馆杂志》(School Library Journal)书评
Gr 7 Up-An examination of birth control, sex education, STDs, homosexuality, pregnancy, and changes in the attitudes toward teenage sexuality and morality. As in previous titles in the series, the book explores a wide range of opinions and perspectives. For instance, one chapter presents gay teens as having a statistically higher risk of suicide, while its companion chapter denounces the statistics as ``mere propaganda.'' Well-developed bibliographies of both books and periodicals, a detailed index, and a list of organizations to contact are included. Graphics are clear, well chosen, and liberally placed throughout the text. The writing styles are smooth and the reading levels are accessible. All in all, this is another well-organized title in a dependable series. A good addition to balanced collection, and a solid research resource.- Doris A.
