The result of a project by Deans's Global Information and Technology management class at Thunderbird (American Graduate School of International Management), this work provides introductory essays about six major regions of the world (Asia, Africa and the Middle East, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North America, and Latin America). The essays focus on recent political and economic developments that will affect trade. URLs are given for Web pages relating to each region. Entries include country, category (country information, business, business topics, government resources, information providers), title, URL, and brief description. The chapter introductions are written by Thunderbird faculty who are experts on the respective regions. The preface states that the contents will be updated on Thunderbird's Web page (http://www.t-bird.edu). This introduction to some key Web sources on international business is inexpensive, and most students should be able to use a browser to find these sites and more. The real value of this work is the essays by Thunderbird faculty. Recommended for business collections. L. K. Miller Paradise Valley Community College
