《儿童读物杂志》(Horn Book)书评
In these books, a young person eats in a restaurant and learns about the chef, or flies in a plane piloted by his father, or goes to the police station about a missing bike. Exposed to the activities and tools of professionals, rather than to the training and attributes for the full career, the young reader will conclude that the various careerists are nice people. The books add little to what children will learn by their own personal involvement and by observation. Mediocre illustrations. (c) Copyright 2010. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. No redistribution permitted.
