《儿童读物杂志》(Horn Book)书评
Each double-page spread presents a historical disaster, including the great fire of London in 1666, the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, and the sinking of the 'Titanic' in 1912. Time lines, captions, and sidebars compete for space in the busy pages of the oversized book. The color illustrations are well done but too reduced in size to clearly show details mentioned in the text. The last spread forecasts future disasters for the earth. Ind.
